About Bolton Branch
The Bolton branch is a small but committed group of early childhood education professionals who meet regularly to organise events that engage expert speakers on a range of topics.
The branch has been in existence for many years and originally started as a branch of The Nursery Schools Association in the 1940s. Some of the current committee have been members for over 20 years.
We hold a half day Saturday conference once a term usually in October, March and June at The Last Drop Village on the outskirts of Bolton. We have about 70 delegates attending from around the north west and we always invite local suppliers to sell their resources. Delegates especially enjoy the bacon butties at half time!
The branch organised a successful Early Education national conference in May 2011.
Committee members always attend the national AGM and conference. New members to the branch and committee are always welcome.
