HELP SHAPE OUR RESPONSE TO THE SELECT COMMITTEE
INQUIRY INTO SURE START CHILDREN'S CENTRES IN ENGLAND
The Children, Schools and Families Select Committee in the House of Commons
is currently undertaking an inquiry into Sure Start Children's Centres. The
inquiry will examine whether the Children's Centres model of integrated
services for under-5s and their families promotes early childhood
development and is an effective response to deprivation.
Early Education will be making a full response. In order to inform and
evidence our response effectively a short survey has been devised that we
hope you will answer so that we can represent your views and experience
fully. Please feel free to circulate the link to this survey to other early
education practitioners who you think would be interested in responding.
Please complete the online questionnaire by 5pm on Friday 2nd October 2009.
Unfortunately, it is not possible on this occasion to send you a hard copy
of the questionnaire. All responses must be made online.
Early Education is the leading UK voluntary organisation that supports
practitioners, parents and others who are not just involved in the
development of young children, but committed to ensuring that they - and all
children from birth to eight - receive the best possible care and education.
