Have you ever wondered why all the little toys get transported around your setting? Or why the children hide under tables or wrap themselves in material? How the cars always seemed to be ‘lined up’?
Practitioners will learn about the main schemas they may see in their settings through videos and photographs and discussion. They will gain an understanding about theory behind learning patterns and gain ideas about how to support and extend them.
This is a 2 part course helping practitioners to understand and develop schemas in young children.
Part 2 involves participants studying a child and bringing a story of their learning pattern to the next session to share and discuss with colleagues.
