Young Children having a stake in their learning

As children learn to regulate their behaviour and feelings they grow to become independent learners.

This training day is focused on children's development 0-5 years and explores:

  • what we understand by self-regulation and how it is endorsed in the EYFS
  • how young children start to show clear intentions in their thoughts and actions
  • how physical development is central to all aspects of self-regulated learning
  • suitable environments to support development
  • the critical role of the adult
