There are no high heels or a home corner in Primary 1 - POSTPONED


In this presentation, Deirdre will draw on her current research and training to discuss the implementation of quality play. Deirdre will share examples to highlight key points and to examine further the environment as an educator, which plays a key role in the quality of children’s exploration and play. To finish Deirdre will pose key questions and reflect on her own findings.

Speaker Bios: 

Deirdre Grogan…is a Principal Knowledge Exchange Fellow at the University of Strathclyde. Her role is to support the development of effective teaching and learning within the early years. She has a keen interest in creativity and learning through inquiry. Deirdre has worked across Scotland to develop early years education and she is very passionate about her work.
