Early childhood education can improve children’s life chances, with high quality education having the most impact.
We act to raise the quality of early childhood education directly by supporting the professional learning of early years practitioners, teachers and leaders.
We also campaign for policy and regulatory frameworks which support and reflect high quality early years pedagogy. We scrutinise the frameworks set by government and regulators (eg Ofsted). We work to ensure that these reflect principled and well-evidenced approaches to early childhood education and that they are co-produced with the sector where possible.
