Early Education Associate
Nathan has worked in early childhood education for twenty years. A trained early childhood and Primary Montessori teacher, he has worked across the public, private and voluntary sectors both in and with schools and settings, for a local authority, and with two national early years organisations. In addition to practice as a Montessori teacher he has worked on programme management, funding, policy development, communications and grant capture. Nathan is also an associate tutor and lecturer in Higher Education. He completed the MA in Early Childhood Education and a doctorate at the University of Sheffield. Nathan works nationally offering workshops and consultancy support to schools and settings including bespoke packages of advice and guidance.

This consultancy support includes implementation of policy at school/setting level including changes to governance arrangements, place planning and implementation of the extended entitlement. At local authority level, consultancy can include a review of early years provision, production of guidance/resources and bespoke service delivery support. Bid Writing and Grant Capture - delivered by Nathan Archer
Having experience of securing funding though local and national charities and foundations, Big Lottery, Arts Council, Heritage Lottery Fund and EU programmes for education projects, the consultant can support schools and settings with grant research and bid writing from small scale projects to capital programmes.
