Dr Donna Gaywood

Early Education Associate

Donna has had a long unconventional career as an educator. She has worked in schools, for charities, local authorities, in PVIs, and established two companies. Her work has mainly been with children and their families who are facing challenging circumstances. Donna has developed a specialism of working with refugee and migrant children and also supporting very young children with social emotional and mental health needs. Donna works part-time as a senior lecturer for Children, Young People and Families, at the University of Gloucester, and still works as a consultant working alongside parents and settings to ensure children can access early years provision.
